Holiday Mini-Sessions Are Back!

Holiday mini-sessions are back by popular demand. So if you are short on time this holiday season and need to update your family portrait, this is a great option for you.

I have blocked out 2 weekends in October as well as one weekend in November, and will be holding these mini sessions at the Mercer Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. These sessions typically last 20-30 minutes and are at a reduced rate. You will also receive a complimentary 8x10 photo from your session. Please see the flier below for more detailed information.

Call or email the studio to set up a session. Be sure to ask about holiday cards. A greeting card is the perfect way to showcase your new family photo.

Collages

Today I was playing around with some of the photos I shot this summer. Here's one collage featuring some romantics from the Fast wedding. Nicci and Jared had a beautiful wedding.

Here's another collage from the wedding day, featuring the ladies preparing for the big day. I've have two different options on the collage below. One of the photos featured in it is a goofy shot of a couple of the bridesmaids...verses one that is a little more sweet and serious. I'll let you decide which you like better.

More images from the Fast wedding to come.

Color and Toning Options on Photos

Clients will often ask me what specialty colors and tones are offered. Here are a few that are traditionally offered. The most common colors options offered are color, aged/sepia, balck and white (high contrast or low contrast), and selenium/cold tones. Of course additional toning is available upon request. Please contact the studio for more details.

My Little Sis Got Hitched!!

My little sister got married on March 14, 2009 and I had the honor of doing her wedding photography. I'd also like to say a special thank you to my husband. He often will come along as a second shooter at weddings and he does such a wonderful job.
I'm almost done processing all of the wedding photos and wanted to give family and friends a little sneak peak. Meet the Weavers!

And now for my favorite part...the romantics of the adorable couple!

I had so much fun photographing this wedding. I hope you all enjoy the images.

Love is in the air...

Here is a sneak peak for Mandy and Zachary, who will be getting married this summer. This fire fighter and school teacher are such a cute pair. This was our second attempt at scheduling an engagement session, due to the unpredictable weather in Houston. I'm glad that this weekend worked out. So off we were, to shoot some engagement photos in College Station.

I had so much fun getting to know these two. On the way out of town we stopped at quite possibly the biggest gas stop store that I had ever seen. So thanks for introducing us to Buc-ee's. =)

The day had some ups and downs, as far as working with harsh sun light. However, we still got some great images.

We started off at a favorite chill spot of theirs'; Bottle Cap Alley and Dixie Chicken.

A few romantics around campus at Texas A&M...

We were even fortunate to snag a couple photos with Reveille, the official mascott of Texas A&M University...

We ended the day in the quaint little town of Calvert. This town had lots of interesting textures and colors from old buildings, which lent us a number of beautiful backdrops.

I hope the two of you had as much fun as I did. I'm looking forward to the wedding in June!

My Little Sis'

My little sister is growing up so fast. She is such a beautiful person both inside and out. It's been hard to live so far away and miss out on her growing up. Meet Julie...

Awe, to be young and carefree. I had a blast taking these photos!
